In June 2019, I asked David Lawton, my very talented advisor, to teach me how to paint in watercolor. We began with the basics -- how to create a wash, dry brush techniques, and masking, to name just a few.
Watercolor has a life of it's own. It's difficult to control, and as David says, "You have to let it do it's own thing." This is a hard lesson to learn for someone like me, who paints in a structured manner. So, I'm learning and painting and learning some more.
